TL;DR Franc collects nothing. The app has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. Your data stays on your device. The rest of this page just explains, in detail, what those words mean.
None. Franc has no user accounts, no sign-up, no login. It does not collect personal information, financial information, contact details, location, identifiers, usage data, or diagnostics. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter that phones home, no advertising framework, and no tracking of any kind.
Everything you enter into Franc — accounts, transactions, budgets, scheduled entries, notes — is stored in the app's private sandbox on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. The app also uses UserDefaults to persist a small set of preferences (currency choice, onboarding state, toggles).
None of this is synced to iCloud, none of it is sent to a server we operate, and none of it is shared with a third party. Franc has no network access for the purpose of moving your data anywhere.
Franc does not make outbound network requests in normal use. It does not connect to any backend, API, advertising network, analytics provider, or sync service. It does not link to your bank or any other external account.
The only outbound interaction Franc can trigger is when you tap a contact or "share" link in the app — for example, opening your mail app to email support@gfc-studio.be, or using the iOS share sheet to send a file you generated. Those actions hand control to iOS and are governed by your system's own privacy settings, not by Franc.
Franc lets you export a copy of your data as a JSON file via the Settings screen. The file is generated on your device, written to a temporary location, and handed to the iOS share sheet so you can decide where it goes — AirDrop, email, the Files app, or a third-party app of your choice. You generate it, you own it, you choose where it ends up. Franc never uploads it anywhere on its own.
Franc ships no third-party SDKs. No Firebase, no Sentry, no Crashlytics, no Mixpanel, no analytics, no advertising. The only frameworks the app uses are first-party Apple frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData, Swift Charts, OSLog, UIKit feedback). Apple's privacy practices for those frameworks apply at the platform level and are described in Apple's own privacy policy.
Franc is suitable for ages 4+ per its App Store rating. It does not knowingly collect any data from anyone — including children — because it does not collect data at all.
If you are in the EU/EEA, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection regarding personal data a company holds about you.
Because Franc holds no personal data about you on any system we operate, those rights have no data to apply to. Your in-app data is yours; deleting the app, or using the in-app "Delete all data" option, removes it from your device.
If you contact us via support@gfc-studio.be, we keep that email correspondence solely to reply, and delete it once the conversation ends. You may at any time ask us what we have on file about that correspondence and ask us to delete it.
If a future version of Franc changes any of the above — for example, adds optional iCloud sync, or any new feature that touches a network — this page will be updated and the change date below will move forward. The promise is: any change broadens what's said here; it never silently narrows it.

Geen. Franc heeft geen gebruikersaccounts, geen registratie, geen login. De app verzamelt geen persoonsgegevens, financiële gegevens, contactgegevens, locatie, identificatoren, gebruiksdata of diagnostiek. Er zit geen analytics-SDK in, geen crashrapporteerder die naar huis belt, geen reclamesysteem en geen tracking — in geen enkele vorm.
Alles wat je in Franc invoert — rekeningen, transacties, budgetten, geplande boekingen, notities — wordt opgeslagen in de eigen sandbox van de app op je toestel, via Apple's SwiftData-raamwerk. Daarnaast gebruikt de app UserDefaults voor een klein aantal voorkeuren (munt, onboarding-status, schakelaars).
Niets daarvan wordt gesynchroniseerd met iCloud, niets wordt naar een server verzonden die wij beheren, en niets wordt gedeeld met derden. Franc heeft geen netwerktoegang om jouw gegevens ergens anders heen te brengen.
Franc maakt bij normaal gebruik geen uitgaande netwerkverbindingen. De app verbindt niet met een backend, API, advertentienetwerk, analyseplatform of synchronisatiedienst. Er is geen koppeling met je bank of een ander extern account.
De enige uitgaande interactie die Franc kan starten gebeurt wanneer jij zelf een contact- of deellink in de app aantikt — bijvoorbeeld je mailprogramma openen voor support@gfc-studio.be, of het iOS-deelblad gebruiken voor een bestand dat jij hebt aangemaakt. Op dat moment neemt iOS het over; de privacyregels van het systeem, niet die van Franc, gelden dan.
Via het Instellingen-scherm kan je een kopie van je gegevens exporteren als JSON-bestand. Het bestand wordt op je toestel aangemaakt, in een tijdelijke locatie geschreven en aan het iOS-deelblad doorgegeven zodat jij kiest waar het terechtkomt — AirDrop, e-mail, Bestanden, of een andere app. Jij maakt het aan, jij bezit het, jij kiest. Franc uploadt het nooit zelf.

Onder de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG/GDPR) heb je recht op inzage, rechtzetting, wissing, beperking, overdraagbaarheid en bezwaar tegen verwerking van persoonsgegevens die een onderneming over je bewaart.
Omdat Franc geen persoonsgegevens over jou bewaart op enig systeem dat wij beheren, hebben die rechten geen gegevens om op toe te passen. De gegevens in de app zijn de jouwe; de app verwijderen of de optie "Alle gegevens verwijderen" gebruiken, wist ze van je toestel.
Wanneer je ons mailt op support@gfc-studio.be bewaren we die mailwisseling enkel zo lang als nodig om te antwoorden, en we verwijderen ze daarna. Je kan altijd vragen wat we daarvan in dossier hebben en vragen om het te wissen.
Als een toekomstige versie van Franc iets aan het bovenstaande verandert — bijvoorbeeld optionele iCloud-synchronisatie toevoegt, of een nieuwe functie die het netwerk raakt — wordt deze pagina aangepast en schuift de datum hieronder vooruit. De belofte: elke wijziging verbreedt wat hier staat; ze versmalt het nooit stilzwijgend.
