Why are its reminders called "class-aware"?
The reminders are derived from your plant's rose class, your climate zone, and whether it is in a pot or in the ground, rather than being generic calendar alerts. That is why a rambler and a floribunda are not pruned on the same calendar.
Does it need an account or an internet connection?
No. Rose Care Companion requires no account or signup and has no backend at all. It works on-device with no internet required, and nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.
